Website Maintenance

Keep the site you paid for working like it should.

Updates, backups, security, monitoring and support, handled every month by the people who know how websites break.

Why it matters

Websites don’t fail all at once. They drift.

A site that worked perfectly at launch slowly falls behind: software goes out of date, certificates expire, a plugin update quietly breaks the form. Maintenance is how you catch it before your customers do.

  1. 01

    Outdated plugins

The most common way small business sites get compromised. Updates close the holes, but only if someone applies them and checks nothing broke.

  2. 02

    Silent form failures

A contact form that stops sending is invisible until you notice the inquiries dried up. We test delivery, not just whether the button works.

  3. 03

    Expired certificates and domains

Browsers warn visitors away from a site with a lapsed certificate, and a lapsed domain can take your email down with it.

  4. 04

    Slow creep

Sites get heavier over time: bigger images, more plugins, more scripts. Regular checks keep it fast on phones.

FAQ

Maintenance, explained

Do you maintain websites you didn’t build?

Often, yes. We start with a review of the site, its hosting and its plugins, fix anything urgent, and then tell you whether it can be maintained as it is or needs some work first.

What platforms do you maintain?

Mostly WordPress and WooCommerce sites, plus sites built with modern development frameworks. If your site is on a hosted builder, the platform handles much of this, and we can talk about whether a plan makes sense at all.

What happens if something breaks?

Because backups are taken regularly, a bad update or a hacked file can be rolled back. We investigate, fix the cause and let you know what happened. Larger repairs or new features are scoped separately or handled through a retainer.

Is hosting included?

Hosting is separate from maintenance, but we can manage it for you, recommend a host that suits your site, or work with the one you already have.

What’s the difference between maintenance and a creative retainer?

Maintenance keeps the site you have healthy, secure and working. A creative retainer is time for new work: pages, design, campaigns, SEO improvements and more. Many clients have both.
