SEO without the smoke and mirrors.

Technical fixes, better pages and useful content, done steadily and reported in plain English. Realistic expectations instead of ranking promises.

If someone promises you page one of Google, be wary. Nobody controls Google’s rankings, and the companies that make guarantees tend to rely on tactics that work briefly and then cause problems. What good SEO can do is remove the things holding your site back, make your pages the best answer to the searches that matter, and build visibility steadily over time.

We work on three layers. Technical SEO makes sure search engines can crawl, understand and index your site: speed, mobile usability, site structure, redirects, duplicate content, schema markup. On-page SEO makes each page clearly about something: titles, headings, internal links and copy that matches what people are searching for. Content strategy fills the gaps, with new pages and articles that answer the questions your customers are asking.

Most engagements start with an audit, so we know what’s actually wrong before spending time fixing things that don’t matter. From there you can hand us the findings to implement, or continue with monthly SEO where we work through priorities, track progress and adjust.

SEO also works best when it’s built in, not bolted on. Because we design and build websites too, a new site or redesign can launch with the structure, speed and content foundations already in place.

Checklist

What an SEO audit checks

The audit is where every engagement starts. It tells us what’s worth fixing, and in what order.

  • Crawlability and indexing

Can Google find and index the pages that matter, and is it wasting time on ones that don’t?

  • Site speed and Core Web Vitals

How fast pages load and respond, especially on phones.

  • Mobile usability

Whether the site is easy to read and use on a small screen.

  • Site structure

Navigation, internal linking and whether important pages are easy to reach.

  • Titles and headings

Missing, duplicated or vague page titles, descriptions and headings.

  • Content quality and gaps

Thin or overlapping pages, and searches you have no page for.

  • Redirects and broken links

Dead ends, redirect chains and leftovers from old redesigns.

  • Structured data

Schema markup that helps search engines understand your business and pages.

  • Competitor comparison

Who ranks for your key searches and what they do differently.

  • Analytics and tracking

Whether Search Console and GA4 are set up and measuring the right things.

No mystery about what you’re paying for
Every month you see what was done and why, explained without jargon.

How it works

How we approach SEO

  1. Step 1: Audit

We review the site’s technical health, content, rankings, competitors and analytics, then present the findings in plain English.

  2. Step 2: Strategy

Together we decide which searches to focus on and agree a prioritized plan of fixes and content.

  3. Step 3: Fix foundations

Technical issues come first, because content can’t perform on a site search engines struggle to read.

  4. Step 4: Improve and create

Ongoing on-page improvements and new content, working through the plan month by month.

  5. Step 5: Measure and adjust

Monthly reporting on what moved and what didn’t, with the plan adjusted based on real data.

FAQ

SEO: common questions

Can you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. Google decides rankings, and it changes how it does that constantly. What we can promise is careful, honest work on the things that influence rankings, and clear reporting on what changes as a result.

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can show effects relatively quickly once Google re-crawls the site. Building visibility for competitive searches usually takes months of steady work, not weeks. How long depends on your competition, your site’s history and how much content needs creating. We’d rather set realistic expectations than sell you a fast result that doesn’t arrive.

What’s the difference between an SEO audit and monthly SEO?

An audit is a one-off review with a prioritized action list. You can implement it yourself, have your developer do it, or have us do it. Monthly SEO is ongoing work: we fix, improve, create content and report each month. Many clients start with an audit and move to monthly work once they’ve seen the findings.

Is SEO included when you build a new website?

Our websites launch with solid SEO foundations: clean structure, fast pages, proper titles and headings, schema markup, sitemaps, redirects from any old site, and Search Console set up. That gives a new site a strong start. Ongoing work to grow visibility, like new content and continued optimization, is a separate monthly service.

What will I see in a monthly report?

What we worked on, how search visibility and organic traffic have changed, and, where tracking allows, inquiries that came from search. We focus on numbers tied to the business rather than vanity metrics, and explain what they mean in plain English.

Do you build backlinks?

We don’t buy links or use link schemes, which can get a site penalized. Good links usually come from being genuinely useful or newsworthy: strong content, local partnerships, industry associations and press. We’ll help you find and pursue legitimate opportunities.
